Tjioe The Caterer (pronounced as “chew”) started as a hole-in-the-wall restaurant at the heart of Manila’s Chinatown called Quik Snack back in the late 60’s. As it was quick to become a household name among the Filipino-Chinese community, this paved the way for an opportunity to venture into the catering business in the late 80’s.
With over 30 years of experience under our belt, Tjioe The Caterer have mastered the art of crafting traditional Chinese cuisine with modern and innovative twists. Incorporating the rich culinary heritage of the East with the opulent flavors of the West.

MEET THE CHEF
Chef Jeff “Jaine” Teh
A management graduate with a passion for the culinary arts, Chef Jeff started out as a kitchen helper back in the early 90’s at their family owned restaurant, Golden Rod Seafood Restaurant. He then travelled to the United States to further hone his craft before heading back to the Philippines to open his own restaurant in 2002 called Dragon Gate Seafood Restaurant which he managed for ten years.
Currently working as, the executive chef of Tjioe The Caterer, one of Metro Manila’s premier Chinese caterer, Chef Jeff proudly shares his culinary expertise by continuously innovating and reinventing quality dishes that boasts a distinct Tsinoy experience.

Buffet service is available for a minimum guarantee of 50 guests.
LAURIAT
Chinese banquet like no other, Tjioe The Caterer is the only accredited caterer in Metro Manila’s top events venues who specializes in lauriat service.
Lauriat service is available for a minimum guarantee of 150 guests or 15 tables.
PLATED
Degustation right at your doorstep. Invite our chef into your kitchen and let him grace your intimate gathering with a sumptuous meal that is sure to make you want for more.
Plated service is available for a minimum guarantee of 12 guests.
